Description
SIA Roga i kopita is hiring a Radiation Protection Technician for its team in Copenhagen, DK. This is a permanent full-time position with a clear scope, measurable expectations and structured onboarding.
About the role
Radiation protection technicians monitor radiation levels in buildings and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and to prevent dangerous elevations in the radiation level. They take measures to minimise radiation emissions, and to prevent further contamination in the event of radiation pollution, by developing radiation protection plans, in particular for nuclear plants and facilities.
What you will do
- Calculate Exposure To Radiation.
- Develop Hazardous Waste Management Strategies.
- Develop Radiation Protection Strategies.
- Ensure Compliance With Radiation Protection Regulations.
- Hazardous Waste Treatment.
- Hazardous Waste Types.
- Keep accurate records of completed work, issues and follow-up actions.
- Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors to meet quality, safety and delivery standards.
What we are looking for
- At least 2 year(s) of relevant professional experience.
- Practical knowledge of the tools, procedures and standards used in this occupation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a professional approach.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and complete role-specific training where required.
