Spotify is hiring a Leather Laboratory Technician for its team in Oslo, NO. This is a permanent full-time position with a clear scope, measurable expectations and structured onboarding.

About the role

Leather laboratory technicians perform and report chemical analyses and physical tests of leather. They also perform and report chemical analyses of auxiliaries, environmental emissions and discharges. They ensure that the tests are carried out according to appropriate national, international or customer standards.

  • Adapt To Changing Situations.
  • Characteristics Of Chemicals Used For Tanning.
  • Create Solutions To Problems.
  • Execute Working Instructions.
  • Functionalities Of Machinery.
  • Identify Defects On Raw Hides.
  • Keep accurate records of completed work, issues and follow-up actions.
  • Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors to meet quality, safety and delivery standards.

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 year(s) of relevant professional experience.
  • Practical knowledge of the tools, procedures and standards used in this occupation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly.
  • Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a professional approach.
  • Willingness to follow company procedures and complete role-specific training where required.
