About the role

Astronomers research the formation, structures, properties, and development of celestial bodies and interstellar matter. They use ground-based equipment and space-based equipment to collect data about the space for research purposes.

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant professional experience.
• Practical knowledge of the tools, procedures and standards used in this occupation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a professional approach.
• Willingness to follow company procedures and complete role-specific training where required.
