About the role

Secretaries of state assist heads of government departments, such as ministers, and aid in the supervision of proceedings in the department. They assist in the direction of policies, operations, and department staff, and perform planning, resource allocation, and decision-making duties.

What you will do

• Advise Legislators.
• Advise On Legislative Acts.
• Analyse Legislation.
• Audit Techniques.
• Budgetary Principles.
• Conduct Financial Audits.
• Keep accurate records of completed work, issues and follow-up actions.
• Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors to meet quality, safety and delivery standards.

What we are looking for

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant professional experience.
• Practical knowledge of the tools, procedures and standards used in this occupation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a professional approach.
• Willingness to follow company procedures and complete role-specific training where required.
