Material Testing Technician

BalticWorks is hiring a Material Testing Technician for its team in Daugavpils, LV. This is a permanent full-time position with a clear scope, measurable expectations and structured onboarding.

About the role

Material testing technicians perform a variety of tests on materials such as soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt, in order to verify conformance to intended usage cases and specifications.

What you will do

• Advanced Materials.
• Apply Safety Procedures In Laboratory.
• Collect Samples.
• Health, Safety And Hygiene Legislation.
• Maintain Test Equipment.
• Materials Engineering.
• Keep accurate records of completed work, issues and follow-up actions.
• Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors to meet quality, safety and delivery standards.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 year(s) of relevant professional experience.
• Practical knowledge of the tools, procedures and standards used in this occupation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a professional approach.
• Willingness to follow company procedures and complete role-specific training where required.
